Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and singer who was born in NYC the city of New York, on November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1984. Her performances have earned the attention of a broad variety of genres, including period dramas, thrillers and action adventures. Johansson was the daughter of an architect and producer, was born within New York City. Hunter, her twin brother, and she were both the youngest out of four children. She developed an interest in acting at a young age, and began auditioning for commercials at the age of seven. The passion for acting developed quickly and she enrolled soon after to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Johansson made her debut an actor in the film North (1994) when she was nine. She was just eight when she starred alongside Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson made her debut on screen in Just Cause, but she made her debut with Manny & Lo, a film about siblings left behind by their parents who flee. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was the role of a teenage girl who has a deformity because of an accident earned an acclaim from critics. In Ghost World 2001 (as the young, sarcastic teenager Rebecca) Johansson was awarded the attention of a whole new generation. As a child she was attracted to acting. Smith got her first job as an actor at 6 years old, through the support of her parents. In a commercial on television Smith starred as Dannon Yogurt. As many new actresses choose to pursue, she decided to build her talent in theatre. While working on different projects in the USA she made her theatrical debut in Wildflower. She attended an institution called the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
