Ashley Graham was born on November 22, 1989 in Lincoln Nebraska. Growing up with her sisters, Ashley was constantly bullied by peers due to her big legs. Soon after finishing the elementary school level, Graham was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (A.D.H.D. ) However, she was able to conquer this, as well as others personal hurdles during her youth. Graham was discovered by a talent agent when she was only 12 in the Nebraska mall. Her face appeared in magazines and advertisements before her graduation from Lincoln Southwest High School. When she first began her modelling career, she faced difficulties being hired because her physique was quite unique. Graham was offered a variety of jobs as catalog models, however they claimed that she would not be able to progress beyond basic projects. She was fortunate to be able prove the casting directors wrong and she progressed rapidly. In 2007, she had an interview with Sally Singer of "Vogue" magazine, which gave her one of her very first major breaks. The following year, in 2009, Graham appeared on "Glamour's" "These Bodies Are Beautiful At Every Size". Graham's Lane Bryant commercial, which was banned in a variety of countries, made her headlines repeatedly. At the time of its de-listing from YouTube the video featured more than 800,000 views. As the controversy grew and she was as a guest on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show". Graham rapidly gained fame and is today considered to be among America's best super-sized models. Grande started acting and singing at a very early age. In 2008, Grande was offered a role in the Broadway show 13 before she began to appear on TV in smaller roles. Her big break occurred in the year 2010 when she was offered a part on the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious. She played Cat Valentine a teenage girl attending a performing art school. She was a part of Sam & Cat, a spin-off series that aired from 2013 to 2014.
